The COVID-19 pandemic has not only disrupted lives and altered the socioeconomic paradigm, but it has also held a mirror to each of our faces. The number of cases of racial discrimination against our brothers and sisters from the Northeast has shot up exponentially.
Now is the time to change, not just to adapt but to also rectify our flaws. Racism is one of the social ills that must be eradicated from our society with immediate effect. When a virus doesn’t discriminate between the lives it affects, who are we to racially profile others?
