We, the Virtual Mobs

We thrive on boycotts and bans,
We slay tolerance,
Ignorance is our virtue,
Anonymity our strength,
and misinformation our fuel.
We, the virtual mobs,
We set your minds on fire.

We protect the oppressors,
We marginalise the marginalised,
We sell hatred as a necessary quality,
We see love as a weakness,
We believe in the power of violence,
We demonise the ones who disagree.
We, the virtual mobs,
We set your minds on fire.

We decide what is good and evil,
We judge the right and the wrong,
We despise the ones who fight for their rights,
We idolise the ones who tell the lies.
We, the virtual mobs,
We set your minds on fire.

We are a creation of the digital age,
We excel in trolling, bullying and scapegoating.
We are the outcome of frustrations, envy and self-loathing,
All we need is attention to fly,
All we crave is recognition.
All we want is to capture your psyche,
And poison your heart,

We are the virtual mobs,
We set your minds on fire.
