Home, or Not

The author writes about moving back to India a few years ago after growing up in Mauritius, and being on the brink of major life changes.

I am discordant and out-of-sync in both places that could-have-been-home. With the riches of two cities to choose from, I can lay claim to neither.

I long for the warmth of my home in Kerala while belonging to a city I am living in right now – Delhi.
