Faith is a thing of wonder,
when men slaughtered
slowly fade into thin white lines of grief,
that we snort only while proving a point
to the adjacent man of religion.
Faith is a thing of wonder,
when we call upon different Gods
in the same scenarios,
to save our lives
from the majority,
the party.
Faith is a thing of wonder,
when we fight for another space to pray
while taking someone else’s away,
as if that blessed land
will only bless the ones
with their hands dipped in red.
Faith is a thing of wonder,
when we wish for a better land,
while we keep digging graves
for bodies
that the Ganges might just bring back to life.
