Let our old memories light our way
As we fumble through our yesterdays
Let forgotten smiles flicker again
As we navigate lanes of memory.
Fleeting moments in which we lived whole lives
Conflict with decades of toil called experience
Thought tumbles upon thought as we meet
And live lives to the full…young, again.
Let us embrace closely, my old friends
May no winds pass here, no sad sighs or tears
Celebrate and let rude laughter ring out
For our yesterdays, for now, for evermore!
