Don’t take the name of Big Brother in vain
Even saying Annachi or Bhaiyya is Skin in the game
The game is one of Cat and Mouse
Where the cats are all powerful and in control of the House.
The mice are all skittering hither and thither
To claim some floor space udhar ya idhar
The cats make the rules that Big Brother decrees
Big Brother’s power can only increase.
Most mice are cowering and afraid to squeak
The ones who raise their voice: their future is bleak
The cats will attack them: no holds barred
The least that will happen: they’ll be feathered-and-tarred.
So the mice are all surely but steadily going to ground
Wherever Big Brother’s cats are prowling around
How do you tackle them? Who will bell the cats?
Do the mice have to mutate into super-powerful rats?
If you are a small mouse, you should learn what to do
Raise your voice, help other mice, try something new
Cats are definitely outnumbered by mice
There’s strength in numbers: isn’t that nice?
Together we can say “Big Brother’s cats: we ain’t scared of you”
“Hey there, Big Brother”, Altogether now, “Boo!”
