Inside us somewhere,
a void prevails.
Somewhere inside our voice,
a pause remains.
A void of you,
a pause of you.
Peace, where are you?
Confrontation is stifling here,
nothing can defuse it except you.
Peace, come here soon
and pour yourself all over us.
Let us savour
the salubrious verses
of harmony
straight from the womb
of your lips,
the spiritual platform
that gratify our senses
in this covetous world
and let us feel evermore,
the rapture of love,
spiritual realisation,
culture of acceptance
and solidarity
at the symposium
of our heart
with the soul.
Nepalese poet Bhuwan Thapaliya is the author of four poetry collections. His main theme often hinges round the globalisation of love, peace and universal solidarity.
